Jordan participated in the equestrian sports competitions in the Tokyo 2020 Olympics for the fifth Olympic time, through the jockey Ibrahim Bisharat, who is the most Jordanian athlete who participated in multiple editions of the Olympic Games with 3 Olympic participations. During her participation in the Sydney edition in 2000.

About Taekwondo

Equestrianism is the only Olympic sport where animals participate through the horse, which is as athletic as the jockey.

In the second edition of the modern Olympics, which took place in Paris in 1900, the first appearance of equestrian sport was absent from the next edition, which took place in 1904 and returned again in the 1908 edition, and since that date until the present day, “equestrianism” has not been absent from any Olympic edition.

The equestrian sport at the Olympic Games consists of six events, namely, individual dressage, team dressage, triathlon, individual jumping and team jumping.

Jordan Taekwondo Federation

The Royal Jordanian Equestrian Federation was established in 1988 and includes about 135 riders and riders. The Federation includes 6 centers and one club, which participated in four previous Olympic editions in Sydney 2000, Athens 2004, Beijing 2008 and London 2012.
